Well the game is afoot. By a resounding acclamation the parishioners who attended the open meeting on the 8th said yes to going ahead with an action plan for the parish. Not only that but we had sufficient volunteers to form a steering group and others who said they were willing to help out in other ways.
It will be a long process. 18 months is typical for a plan to gestate and there will be a lot of hard work to get the plan that the village deserves. However if we can maintain the level of entusiasm that we saw on Monday evening I am sure we will be successful.
Our next step is to call the first meeting of the volunteers for the steering group which hopefully will be sometime in early October.
